There are sadly many reasons why you might need help from our 'Criminal' Department. Our criminal team represent people in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court. You may have received a summons for a speeding offence, or you or a member of your family may have been accused of a serious sexual assault or even murder. We cover the full range of offences with our specialist team of advocates.
You may be entitled to free advice, in particular if your matter is serious. We are always happy to discuss this with you at no charge.
If you are a business, you may have received a summons from the local authority regarding a trading standards matter, a health and safety prosecution or a breach of the Environmental Health Act. Once again our team of specialist advocates are always available to assist and advise in these matters.
Our criminal team also represent people when they are arrested or required to attend for interview under caution at Police Stations all over Sussex and Hampshire. This means that the police are investigating a criminal offence and you have been cautioned that you do not have to say anything to them. This is a complicated matter and one you should always receive legal advice on. Feel free to ring for advice, which we can provide 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Advice and assistance at the police station is always free.
